Praise the Lord, brothers and sisters in Christ!

Do we sometimes feel like we have only so much time and years left in our lives that we need to rush to get things done so that we can fulfill the God given destiny?

But the Scripture teaches us that Jesus only did what He saw His Father do.

Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. (John 5:19)

In other words, the very best we can live out each day is simply to follow in His footsteps following the Lord – nothing more or nothing less.

What an amazing, simple life in rest!
