Hope of the WorldSample

Jesus: Hope of the World
What best characterises or describes the message of the Gospel? It’s a message of God’s unfailing love for humanity. It’s a message from the deep wells of his mercy and grace toward us. It’s a message of reconciliation between Creator and created. Additionally, it is a message of hope. The gospel brings hope. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ gives hope to the whole world. It’s a hope that perseveres through difficult circumstances, it’s a hope that won’t fade with time and it’s a hope that is accessible to all people, from every nation and all walks of life. Over the course of this reading plan, we are going to discover how Jesus gives us hope and allow the Holy Spirit to stir up that hope afresh within us.
Reflection Questions:
- Why does the death and resurrection of Jesus provide you with a sense of hope?
- What people or places are you turning to find hope for your current situations?
- How might Jesus be a better source of hope for you?
About this Plan

The story of Easter is the ultimate story of hope. Despite man’s lostness and the impossible problem of sin, God found a way and God made a way. There is hope for a new beginning, a new life, a new future and a new experience of eternity.
